Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups provide platforms for employees to come together, share common interests and make important connections, both in and out of work. Throughout the month, they create space for employees to network, hear from industry leaders with common interests and attend training sessions about topics they are passionate about.
Our mission is to foster the retention, engagement, and promotion of African-American employees at DISH. We’re committed to increasing cultural awareness, creating a forum to discuss relevant topics, providing outreach for community involvement, and facilitating professional development and training opportunities for our members.
Our goals are to empower women to become leaders and create an inclusive work environment. We are committed to supporting the growth and success of members through training, networking and mentorship as well as advocating for organizational change on behalf of women and underrepresented groups.
A community of acceptance and support for LGBTQ+ employees, Out at DISH aims to create a work environment that fosters respect and enables team members to be their authentic selves. We promote a culture of acceptance through educational and networking events highlighting the history, struggles and opportunities of the LGBTQ+ community.
ADELANTE! Hispanic/Latinx Network supports employees by enhancing their knowledge of the Hispanic/Latinx culture and embracing these experiences. We facilitate community engagement, education, and networking events.
A place for former active-duty and current-reserve service members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. We’re centered around professional development, community and networking to help our veterans succeed, build on their strengths, and be an asset to the community.
We are committed to building upon the family-friendly culture at DISH, offering educational opportunities and resources for parents and caregivers seeking to build their careers and families in sync with one another.
The DISH Disability Advocates Network (DDAN) helps to encourage an atmosphere of understanding, respect and support for employees who personally live with illness, pain or disability, or who are caregivers themselves. In addition, we aim to positively impact employee families, our customers, our company, and our communities.
Honoring Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders (HAAPI) is a community acknowledging the diverse regions, languages and ethnicities of Asia and the Pacific Islands. Our mission is to celebrate the AAPI culture, create awareness of the adversities faced by the community and foster a safe space to share our experiences and stand in solidarity with one another.
